    Guy has no clue about baseball. It is 2021 not 1981. Batting average no longer is a important stat. He thinks it is.

    Votto and Ty Steve have close to the same number of PA, Ty Steve has more 2b, higher OBP and BA but Votto has more homers, more rbi, higher slugging and a higher OPS. Does this mean Tylwer Stephenson can't either? It seems to me that Stephenson has a useful bat.

    Not entirely the point. Votto is done. He needs to step aside and let the younger guys get the PT they need going forward.

    You just keep digging a deeper hole. Vottos OBP and OPS and BA are all above the league averages.
