Possibly but more likely that he benefited from sign stealing.

Yes, the days of Joe Garagiola and Tony Kubek, or Jon Miller and Joe Morgan, are over.

Yeah Yelich has so many rumors surrounding his MVP seasons, coupled with persistent back injuries, it might be all of the above.

And right on time, the broadcasts talked about Yelich complaining about not being able to watch in game videos as a reason for his slump last season. Not actually an admission of sign stealing, but sounds fishy.

I’ve never heard any serious PED rumors although I wondered openly about that.

I’m 99.999% sure though, that The Brewers were stealing signs during his two MVP-level seasons. Yelich even got into a small little Twitter spat with Yu Darvish after Darvish mentioned an incident and internet sleuths figured out it was Yelich he was talking about. It was pretty convincing.

Monds made a point last night that it probably doesn’t explain a drop-off to this degree, but I absolutely think it explain some of it.

Look at his numbers in Miami then his first two seasons in Milwaukee’s. Night and day different. Then The Astros get busted and suddenly he’s human again.

OK, so according to the broadcast, Narvaez is going. Which means that MLB.com is inaccurate about their own All-Star Game.

Probably something to do with being checked for sticky substances. Definitely not sign stealing.
