Well, it’s done with half of us. Since half the world doesn’t want to participate in the cure, I’ll have to put it in my rearview mirror. Many of us are just moving on and letting it run its course. Maybe Mike DeWine can spend another $5 million and get a few more to get the shot.

A pandemic affects everyone. You may not have to worry about getting sick and dying, but if cases keep going up, even if most of them are among the unvaccinated, that will effect businesses, travel, schools, and more.

Yeah, I know all that. I was referring to getting sick. Since apparently 50% of the population doesn’t care if they get sick, I’m moving on. I’m sitting here with my good friends, my son, my gf ard her daughters next to the sea and putting away a few bottles of wine and life is good.

I like the NFL's new policies - I hope other sports teams follows. Money talks in this case.

Last season featured numerous games being postponed, sometimes more than once, due to positive test results. It worked, but it was not something the NFL wants to repeat.

I think we are going to see more and more of this, especially in the travel and tourism industry. If you want to stay at our hotel, or come to our attraction, you have to prove you are vaccinated. Not a government regulation, just a personal decison for each business, because it is good business.

So we've got about a month of this before cases start to drop again. Not ideal.

The winter was 12 weeks up and 12 weeks down. The Delta seems to be quicker but too soon to tell. I would guess we peak in September, back down in November, then have have a final wave that peaks in February.

The UK just opened up this week. It will be interesting to see if the decline continues.

All 50 states are reporting increases now. Here in Ohio we're doing OK. Our rate is about half what it was a yr ago. We're at about 650 now whereas last yr we were over 1300. It held steady at about 1000 until Oct when it started to climb. Let's see where this thing peaks.

Jon Rahm was widely criticized here and elsewhere for being forced to withdraw from the Memorial Tournament in early June due to a positive C19 test and he was unvaccinated.

Well now he's totally vaccinated and now he's been kicked out of the Olympics due to another C19 test. He is asymptomatic. Obviously vaccinated or not vaccinated, one can fail a test. It does make one wonder how accurate those tests are. I think asymptomatic fully vaccinated athletes should not have to be subjected to C19 tests. I do feel sorry for this guy

This is a weird set of statements. Even if the test is only 95% accurate, is that 5% chance worth allowing him to potentially spread covid to others? Asymptomatic people I thought were the biggest spreaders of the disease...
