The same people who invite you not to watch are the same ones (mostly) who bristle at the suggestion “not to read” or interact with people whom they don’t like.
I’ve been here a ling time as well, and I cannot recall there being such a divide between the “baseball is great and we’re watching the Reds, so Reds Baseball always = Great Baseball, so shut your quesadilla hole,” the “Joey Sucks Pitchers Suck Reds Suck Castellini Sucks let’s all go die and then eat worms” folks and all points in between.
I participate in many different fora and nowhere is there such a fierce dichotomy twixt posters nor a “post how I tell you to post” attitude.

I haven't read the entire game thread so maybe someone already noted this.
A big part of Joey catching the pop out by the tarp and turning and throwing a strike to the plate to double up the runner was the 1st base umpire leaning forward as Votto made the catch to be out of his way. It was head's up on his part, taking himself out of the equation. Kudos.
