Just to twist the knife a bit more, Raisel Iglesias was named AL Reliever of the Month for July.

John Axford is back with the Brewers. He will be in uniform and active tonight. The Brewers acquired him from the Blue Jays for cash, per club.

Axford, all-time franchise leader in saves for single season (46 in 2011), will again wear his No. 59 with Pat Murphy switching to 00.
In a tweet Monday afternoon, the Brewers said the All-Star closer Josh Hader is now on the COVID-19 injured list, joining fellow relievers Jake Cousins, Hunter Strickland and Jandel Gustave, along with two-time MVP Christian Yelich.

Despite these significant losses, the Brewers have won seven of their last nine games and are still in pole position to make the playoffs.

Additionally, shortly after acquiring him from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash, the Brewers added former closer John Axford to the active roster.
IMO I think Tatis Jr. unfortunately may be done for the year....or at least from a medical standpoint he SHOULD be. This is his 4th shoulder subluxation this year in 5 months (he had one in preseason as well). At some point you are jeopardizing his career by continuing without surgical repair. Every time you dislocate/sublux the shoulder you are potentially making it more difficult to repair the anterior/inferior labrum which is the structure that is injured with this. Think about it like driving on balding tires. That being said I wouldn't be shocked if he comes back as he is the heart and soul of the Padres team no doubt.

If he does decide to continue I would at least advise him to stop diving for balls and stop sliding in so much as that is possible or even feasible. Hell..put him at first base if he is that important. Seriously...

That’s my thing so far as “wishing for an injury.”

He’s being reckless for all I can see. Am I supposed to hope it pays off for him, which will negatively affect the Reds?

    Just get the surgery FTJ.

3 years, 12M$ per this winter - terrible trade by the Reds, might be ahead of the Brewers right now with him.

As bad as the Reds loss was yesterday, the Brewers loss was even worse.

Now the Dodgers are signing Cole Hamels. Has their payroll hit $1 billion yet?
