If Bumgarner’s no-hitter wasn’t a no-hitter because he didn’t go nine innings, why should the Brewers’ no-hitter be official since nobody went nine.

    3000 career Ks for Scherzer.

That kid has a bright future ahead of him.

Perfectly nothing happening through 7 for him now.

Blake Snell left in the first inning last night with adductor tightness. It's unbelievable we are still tied for the final WC spot....we certainly haven't been playing well enough to deserve it.

What's probably going to happen is that the Reds and Padres will have to play a playoff game to get into the wild card game.

His stuff grades out very similar to Homer Bailey

Padres Chris Paddack to IL. Padres are down to Darvish, Musgrove and Weathers as their 3 healthy starters and have a remaining schedule that is north of a .600 winning percentage. Well...then there is Arrieta which I think calling him a pitcher at this point is stretching it.

    Tigers swept the Brewers.

The Reds weren't the only NL team to struggle against them.

Harper is killing it…Tatis doing well to keeping Padres afloat. I think they’ve distanced themselves from other MVP candidates.

Old friend Freddie Galvis just gave Phils a 3-1 lead over Mets with run scoring double. Phils have the schedule to win the NL East or maybe the WC. Segura 2 HRs.

Pads leading Cards 2-0 which is helpful to Reds, need to keep Cards within striking distance.
