And now it's Turner and Scherzer to the Dodgers? Jesus.

Dodgers working on Max, Trea deal (source)

The Dodgers are making progress on a blockbuster trade that would send Nationals ace Max Scherzer and shortstop Trea Turner to Los Angeles, a source told MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi. Neither club has confirmed the deal.

Earlier Thursday, it was reported that the Padres were deep in talks with the Nationals to acquire Scherzer, but other teams remained in the mix throughout.

My guess is Josiah Gray will be pitching for the Nationals this weekend.

Josiah Gray? Pftt. No way he and Jeter downs combine to match the value of the great Kyle Farmer. Reds won that deal in a walk.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Gray potentially being involved in the trade just makes me hate the Bailey trade more.

Sure glad Bob could save some money at the expense of giving away more talented prospects.

Imagine what the Reds could have acquired using Gray and/or Downs last year, this past offseason, etc.?

Just another example of the Reds being inefficient with their prospects.

So Downs was used to acquire Mookie Betts and Gray used to acquire Scherzer and Turner.

I actually liked the trade at the time because I liked Wood, but him getting hurt makes the trade look rather awful.

So the deal appears to be...

    LAD gets:
    RH Scherzer
    SS Turner

    WAS gets:
    RH Gray
    RH Carrillo
    OF Casey
    CA Ruiz

This is the kind of trade that Bowie Kuhn would consider to be not in the best interest of baseball.

That trade is insanely terrible for the nationals

Ahhhh man that’s a rough one to watch go by to another team, from what I can tell this Thompson guy is a jabroni.
