Gray potentially being involved in the trade just makes me hate the Bailey trade more.

Sure glad Bob could save some money at the expense of giving away more talented prospects.

Imagine what the Reds could have acquired using Gray and/or Downs last year, this past offseason, etc.?

Just another example of the Reds being inefficient with their prospects.

MLB announces Nationals infielder Starlin Castro suspended 30 games without pay and fined an undisclosed amount for violating league’s joint domestic violence policy.

Nats have also announced they are releasing Castro once the suspension is over.

He was having a heckuva month right before everything broke. He'll end up playing somewhere outside the U.S. I bet.

Good for them. Glad to see an organization taking a stand against that instead of sweeping it under the rug with a suspension. Of course who knows what they would have done if he were a better player. Talk about a waste of talent. He was supposed to be a great player when he came up and for a few years he was pretty good.

That’s crazy if true. Not quite Greene and Lodolo, but close. And the Jays are 4.5 games out of the wild card with like 5 teams to jump over. High risk trade for a solid, but not great starter.

Interesting that the Jays gave up the best haul for Berrios, and that's a nice get for the Twins. I'm liking our chances of catching the Padres with all these top trade targets going elsewhere.

I think this was the best deal from a sellers standpoint so far.
