Time to Move: Scoreboard watching for August

Cardinals have come back from 4 down to tie the Brewers. I give up on that team ever losing

Honestly it might not have even matter if the Reds didnt completely collapse. Since the W over St. Louis on Sept 10th the Reds have gone 3-7, the Cards have gone 12-0. You could give us 4 wins and flip it to 7-3 and we would currently be a game out prior to tonights game.

Somewhere in the attic of Busch Stadium, there is a Cardinal team picture that loses every game.

13 in a row for the Cardinals now. Reds magic number to be officially eliminated is down to 4

Re: Time to Move: Scoreboard watching for August

On September 12 when the Reds left St. Louis, the Reds had a 1-game lead on the Cardinals. Since then they are 4-6, and the Cardinals are 12-0. If the Reds had won four more games and flipped their record to 8-2 (a very good record), they still would have lost 3 games in the standings and be 2 games behind the Cardinals.

People think the Reds have collapsed (and they have limped to the finish line), but there's not much they could have done here. On the other hand, this is more evidence that the Cardinals' contract with Mephistopheles is still in force.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

I’ve been thinking along the same line. It would have taken a fantasy novel effort to withstand the onslaught by the Cardinals.

They just won their 15th in a row. They are 13-0 since the Reds left St. Louis with a 1-game lead.

When they spent 5 months walking in runs with the bases loaded I thought for sure it was at least receding if not over...never can underestimate the power of the rip tide.
