Really hoping Susac is a smokescreen.

I'd be fine with DeLauter, Neto, Lesko, Porter, or Susac in the first round. If Cross drops that low then I'd take him. I hope we stay away from Barriera. Supplemental pick would be any of those guys plus Cole Young, Toman, Harrington, and maybe Graham.

Same. And same for Young- zero interest.

My wishlist goes something like this:

    1. Dylan Lesko
    2. Elijah Green
    3. Justin Crawford
    4. Chase DeLauter
    5. Kumar Rocker
    6. Zack Neto

Interesting Fangraphs mock has Neto going #4 overall. Also have some noise about us trying to get Horton in the comp round, which would be awesome. I'd HATE to take Susac with Lesko and DeLauter still available (as FG has).

Every time he is mocked to the Reds I am annoyed anew.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

As Casey Stengel said, you need a catcher or you have all passed balls.

The highlights I've seen from Rocker make it look like he needs to get more leg drive in his delivery. Seems like he's putting more strain on his arm than he needs to with that huge frame of his. If the Reds thought he could be in their rotation in 2023 then that may free them up to target two top position player prospects for Castillo.
