i've been critical of bell, but i absolutely love his faith in tyler stephenson. and he's right. tysteve is the real deal. will be one of the best catchers in MLB for the next decade IMO.
Also, are the Brewers off tonight? I just assumed they are since we are playing the Pirates.

He's appeared in more games and has more plate appearances than Barnhart.

Yeah, we always seem to slip up at least once in a series like this. 3/4 will be a pass , 2/4 will just feel like four more games off the schedule with nothing accomplished. You're right, this first one is key. Gotta have it !
Hyothetically, if we were a 75% probability to win any one individual game in this series, then we'd be at 31.64% to win all four. If we were 80% to win any one game, then we would be at 40.96% to win all four. I'll go with halfway between and give us a 36.3% chance of sweeping this series. If we see any Sean Doo doo late with any of these games on the line, then this percentage goes down.
What would be the benefit of that? What good would it do?
Because it certainly would have negative consequences.
Btw, Crowe pitched six scoreless , allowing just one hit in his last outing. I will go on record saying he won't repeat his six scoreless performance tonight. I'll eat crow if Crowe pitches six scoreless tonight.
Also, the Bucs have scored 26 runs in Crowe's last three outings.

Suarez in the 8 hole is risky. I believe its usually good to have a break between 2 auto outs. But I guess that is why I'm sitting in an IT office instead of filling out lineup cards for the Reds.
