    I like the Brach move.

It gives them 10 days (or perhaps a few more) to get him straightened out. He can return as September rolls around as part of the expanded roster.

It helps Brach and the Reds.

Treating those veteran in-season arms well, IMO, makes it slightly more likely that Cincinnati might get more in the future.

As much as I wanna see Moose play, hope Geno has a big game today.

I’m still not ready to give up on him. He’s had a crazy set of circumstances since coming here and long sustained playing time might bring him around.

Love his D and he can actually seem to be able to play CF without getting hurt...

Hope there's not a problem... he's only played two games. I'm sure Bell was itching to get Geno's bat back in the lineup... I thought maybe they would put Moose at 1B and give Joey a rest.

I’m guessing Moose is sitting because it’s a day game after night game and they wanna make sure his foot still isn’t about to fall off

India and Farmer took both of their jobs so there is no reason to give them somebody else’s playing time. Suarez has been awful for two years and Moose can’t stay healthy.

Moose is going to be needed down the stretch... having that 3rd lefty power bat is very nice

Works out well when he gets on base ahead of the top of the lineup too. Good spot for him.

This IL move is a thanks for helping out the pen back when you and Hembree were the only reliable arms we had. For a 3-4 week period he helped keep the team upright till the trades and healthy arms got back.

India could use a day off soon. It has to hard to play day after day. 28 games in 30 days stretches. Playing in the heat. Playing day games after night games etc. Mentally and physically draining. It would take a toll on your body.

Maybe these couple days off will help Naquin a bit.

I haven't checked, so maybe the Reds are doing this (though I doubt it). But it would be nice if the Reds were wearing 1975-76 throwbacks on Joe Morgan Memorial Day.

He has played well the last couple of games -- well enough to get a couple more starts, and he is tolerable in the 8th spot in the order as long the rest of the lineup is producing. But I'm taking a "wait and see" approach, and I'm starting Aquino in CF vs. LHP.
