Nick Lodolo is slated to start for the Reds on Saturday.
The puts him right on schedule to start in the Field of Dreams game on August 11.

Surprised they're not setting it up for Hunter Greene. I'm sure that would be MLB's strong preference.
Although Lodolo would be the next best choice.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Reds walk out of the corn field wearing their 1919 uniforms to hopefully put a beat down on the Cubs.
I don't hate the Cubs quite as much as I did when Rizzo and Baez were still playing in Chicago but I still enjoy watching every Reds win vs division rivals.
Its just that the thrill of victory is much sweeter and the agony of defeat more of a let down in games vs the Cards and Cubs.

I love the striped white caps and helmets. I just wish the Reds would change their regular uniforms back to them (see Schourek avatar). And replace the black with navy blue.

Totally agree. The current uniforms look like overdone 2007. The away jerseys are especially bland. IMO, they should do a pinstriped home Jersey like you described, a solid white home jersey that stresses red more than blue. A modern take on the 1937 Cincinnati Tigers jersey for the away, and for the alternates use the current and do an all blue alternate that is a more modern take on the 1911 jersey. With most of those you could choose between a striped hat, a solid red hat, or a dark blue with Red brimmed hat.
