Looks like Barrero has passed Senzel by in the pecking order. Wouldn't surprise me if they trade Senzel in the offseason. Maybe for another failed/always injured used to be prospect from another team. Both players get fresh starts with new teams type of trade.
If Cast leaves Naquin will play RF and Senzel in CF. Not the way I’d draw it up but with this cheap organization that’s how it will play out. NC’s salary will be pure profit to the Reds.
Yes his salary will be low. I still could see a swap like I was saying. Failed prospect swap. New guy's salary would be low as well.
It might be a good move for him. I’d like to see him stick with the Reds though just because he was drafted by the team.
