Disappointed. I thought they acquired Cabrera to face LHP.
Luzardo is not good. Need to win the series .
Cardinals are now only a game and a half behind San Diego. Tied in loss column. The series with the Cardinals is going to be big.

The Cards are like that so-called friend that always seems to keep hanging around, hanging around, irritating the hell out of you when you wish they'd just go away. It's like Bell feels a loyalty to Geno the Unmagnificent. His management style seems to cater to feelings. Hell, I like Geno, too. Seems like an awesome dude, great teammate. But he can't hit this season. Worrying about people's feelings getting hurt shouldn't be of utmost importance when making out a MLB lineup card. DrubalRed should be playing today.
In the past nearly two weeks Suarez has only started in 2 games, I can't really get mad that he finally sees the field today.

I am not against Suarez being in the lineup today. More disappointed Cabrera isn't. I think Votto could have used the day off.
Also if Moose isn't able to go the next time they face a RHP we will see Cabrera at 3B.
That IMO isn't using Cabrera right. His strength is batting RH not LH.

Let's see if Joey has a good day today. His numbers have fallen substantially since his best buddy Geno has been left out of the lineup. You know with Joey, it's what above the ears that counts...
That might be the craziest thing I have ever saw posted here.
I believe when a hitter is really swinging it well the lefty/righty thing matters way less.
Naquin at 7th vs a meh lefty is not putting enough into things that should be considered.
Hope Suarez doesn’t strand 7 runners today. Naquin seeing it right now better than Votto.
We should win despite all of this but I hate when a player is on fire and he gets moved around the lineup while players that are more established in their careers never get messed with.
If you read that and think that I don’t want Votto batting 3rd today then you are just looking for an argument.
