What the Braves did to him in the 95 NLCS was criminal, and, unfortunately, that’s my lasting impression of a really good player.

I never got to watch any of the Reds 1995 postseason. Where I lived, they showed Indians games instead. (Remember, that was the year they started all of the games at the same time.)

So I have no bad memories of the 1995 NLCS.

If Reggie Sanders strikes out swinging ten times on inside fastballs head high and grounds into two double plays, all in 16 at bats in a 4 game playoff series, and Big Klu didn't see it, did it really happen?

In my mind, no. I have to take you all at your word that the Reds even made the postseason in 1995, because MLB -- in their infinite wisdom -- came up with the most convoluted playoff TV package in television history that year.

I worked with a kid fresh out of college that year who loved the Braves. It was painful to come into the office every day and see that smug face as the Reds had pissed away almost all of their scoring opps in every one of those games. Just excruciating.
