For the first time since 8/4, TJ Hopkins is in the AA Chattanooga lineup. He doubled (13) in a run to knot the game with the Birmingham Barons at one in the bottom of the second. A wild pitch then put the Lookouts up by one, 2-1.

James Proctor, who pitched a total of 7.1 innings in August, is starting for the Dragons tonight. That 1.69 ERA looks remarkable, but the 45 IP-- notsomuch. In his first innings of work, Proctor gave up two hits, but stranded them by K'ing two as well. He's pitching in the second, with no score against the Lugnuts.

Dragons spot Proctor a three-spot in the bottom of two.
The big blow was an Alex McGarry HR (6).
Dayton still up 3-zip on the Lugnuts. Proctor went 4.0 IP. 3 K, 5 K. 3 BB. 0 ER.
More than acceptable, but only 76 pitches.
Graham Ashcraft went 5.0 IP for Chattanooga. Allowed 2 ER, 0 BBs, 5 H, and 4 K. Solid outing.
Lookouts still lead, 3-2.

Hopkins and Proctor are having excellent seasons. 2 to watch in the future for sure
