Wish I felt this way. Have you watched them at all lately? This team is dead.

It’s not 100% effective but it’s good enough. There is nothing you have ever posted I am better off for having read. You probably think the same about me, so do yourself a favor and put me on ignore. There is no reason for you not to do it. I don’t want to waste my time reading your drivel anf I’m quite sure you feel the same about me.
But servo is the grand swami! His takes are unimpeachable, unlike all us other drones.

I do get how it can just be viewed as a bad stretch, about to be 3-7 over their last 10. But the Padres had an even worse stretch recently and they're still right behind us.

I don't think they're dead, but they are acting like it at the moment. It needs to get straightened out fast to have a chance.

I love me some Shrock. If I were the manager, I would play him more. Good hitter. (And he can pitch!)

Guys, please stop fighting amongst yourselves. We are here simply because we are baseball fans and we love the Reds. Why that is, I don't know. I've been a Reds fan since 1969, when I was 9 years old. I've endured heartache and joy just like everyone here. C'mon, really? You're gonna start hating each other over one damn game!? I don't comment much in the off-season because it's endless speculation. That's why my comment total is very low. But, during the season, I'm here.
It pains me to see so many Reds fans at each others throats.
Guys, we have a really good team this year. If Jesse comes back strong and if Geno is finally awakening then we're all gonna be happy. All I ask is that we try to keep it together for the stretch run and, Go Reds!

**** game. Sorry about the meta stuff earlier, though I don't feel I was exactly wrong either, my frustration boiled over. 3-7 over the last ten does that. This does seem like it could be a collapse, but here's to hoping it's a bump with the rebound just around the corner.

A silver lining occured in this game.

Bell probably told Gutierrez "See? It wasn't you."

Really got beat up tonight but it happens to the best of teams.

At the end of the day getting beat by 10 runs counts the same as getting beat by 1 run, still only counts for 1 loss.

    Go get'em tomorrow

Well folks, whatever happens it was fun while it lasted. We've had way too many years where the season was over at the All Star break. Just wish contending was the norm rather than the exception.

Good post, RFL . I've been a Reds' fan since I starting following baseball in 1970 at age 8. I agree with you. I love the Reds whether they win 50 games or 100 games. I think this forum is not only a good place to exchange ideas about baseball but a place where fans can vent their frustrations as well. I don't begrudge folks for getting frustrated at the team or management. I think it's only natural. One of the reasons I came looking for a forum like this is to vent my frustration over how this team and its manager was blowing games in which it had leads late in games. So I totally understand the negative posts concerning bad baseball and bad managing. I do agree with you that fighting amongst ourselves and attacking other folks on here for expressing their opinion seems petty and silly. But the frustration I totally understand. Let's all come together and collectively believe this team will have a great final month of the season.
