Tigers have been good since May 1st…they were over .500 in May, June, July and lost last 3 games of August or would’ve been too. Terrible April but this has been an above .500 team for 4+ months

    Votto suddenly looks chubby there.

Also, Amir looks as surprised as everyone else that he's still on the team.

    1. Why are we batting Suarez in the 5 spot over Famer?
    2. Why did we pick up Cabrera if we're going to Saurez out there vs. lefties?
    3. This one I'm less confident in.....but we can trying to see if Aquino catches on....but Naquin feels like a better option in the OF today even it it's a lefty.
You would be a fine homicide detective... very good questions.

And Sonny Gray looks like he just started his sophomore year in college.

India looks like he'd be protesting on a college campus if not playing baseball.

    Sound up
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

Holy crap...I just realized Miguel Cabrera is owed $72M over the next 2 years with the Tigers including an $8M buyout after 2023. Votto's contract is looking better and better...

opponent doesn't take the lead in the first inning, the streak is over
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
