And you all wanted Asdrubal Cabrera
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

That was a really good at bat for Geno. Get's ahead on the count and thus can now sit on fastballs. Made good contact on a pretty good pitch from Alexander that was at the bottom of the strike zone.

Failed 3-0 swing by Farmer helped coax a walk!

Get Aquino out of my lineup and off my field. He’s not good at baseball. Can’t waste ABs with him in a playoff chase.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

How huge would it be if Geno could hit well down the stretch?

Yes, he's gone from below the Norwood Lateral Zone to above, in the last 3 games(since September rolled in): .169 to .176 on 4/6 hitting

Yea, I would rather they play Naquin, even though it's Lefty on Lefty, or one of the infielders out there.
    Aquino is bad.
Very small sample, and it's probably too soon to say this, but I already think Deshields is a better player than Shogo.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

It was a good AB. That last pitch was a change-up though, that he hit out!

I gladly accept Vlad’s wins for the Reds this year. He’s had some effective games and gets kudos for that.

I just don’t see his stuff being successful as a starter, ultimately. He just seems too easy to hit. And a bad match with GABP.

Hope he continues to prove me wrong.
