Other than the Walt years (which were great), Carl Linder and Bob Castallani have not given a crap about the fans or winning.
Look how ill prepared they were for this season. Yes, the Reds ended up contending for the 2nd wildcard, but it was kind of in spite of ownership. Reds' ownership were probably mad they were pressured to get Givens and Cessa.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
