    Miley 6-6 against winning teams

In 12 games here are his stats:

6-6 3.21 ERA Yeah, today he had a bad game and didn't adjust (by his own admission on the post-game interview), but with that kind of ERA against winning teams, he has to have better run support.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

For a guy who was supposed to be your 5th starter at the beginning of the year, I’ll take Miley’s stat line.

Valley Oak, it’s a sturdy western oak that usually is unimposing, yet completely functional if leveraged correctly

Did you mistype them ERA? 3.21 is great, especially after today.

No mistyping. It's a great ERA, I don't think my wording in my op came out as intended.

According to this site, he has the second best run support in the NL, at just over 7 runs per start:

Breaking: it’s more difficult to pitch against good teams than bad teams

Is this the guy we want on the mound in a 1-game situation?

Sorry, but what does his run support have to do with his ability as a pitcher? Maybe I am missing the point here....
