‘The Wire’ actor Michael K. Williams found dead in NYC apartment
The Wire’’ actor Michael K. Williams was found dead of a suspected heroin overdose in his Brooklyn penthouse Monday afternoon, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Williams, 54, was discovered face-down and unconscious in the dining room of his luxury Williamsburg pad with what appeared to be heroin on the kitchen table, sources said.

Not sure if this is related but there’s been several people who have overdosed from fentanyl-laced heroin and cocaine, just within the comedy and entertainment industry. I’ve never been in the recreational drug world but there’s something going on. I’ve seen people sharing info on social media and recommending nasal sprays to try and curb the accidental ODs from laced drugs.
Just terrible, he was so great in everything I ever saw him.

It's not as famous as his HBO work, but Williams is spectacular in Hap and Leonard, as he was in everything. Highly recommend it.

Such a great actor. For all you youngsters out there, the Wire may be the greatest TV show of all time. I'd highly recommend it. Omar Little was a big reason why.
