milwaukee might not be a bandbox, but it's a hitter's park for sure as you know.

brewers just happen to have a great pitching staff right now.

The issue is home runs. And Milwaukee is no GABP.

Further, as I’m sure you are aware, Moustakas played most of his career in Kansas City and not Milwaukee.

KC is considered a fair park but a difficult place to hit homers.

For reasons of lineup balance, I'd keep Geno over Moustakas. It would make it easier to chase hitters from either side in the OF. However, the way it more likely works is if there's a team willing to deal for either one of them, then that's who the Reds move.

My eye test just says that Geno has more left to contribute. Simply put, as you said JFL, Geno is better and younger. Moose didn't look good at the plate or in the field and really didn't seem to be in top playing shape. Having said all that I hope Moose is healthy next season, comes to camp in better shape, and has a lights out , superstar season. I don't expect that to happen but I certainly hope it for him.

Suarez just looks more comfortable at the plate in Sept...better balance no long lurching at balls...hope he can ride the wave into next season.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

I'd move them both, maybe Suarez bounces back but we've gotten a preview of what will happen as he ages.

The return for either Geno or Moose, if they can trade them at all, probably is going to be someone we don't want. You trade an albatross, you get an albatross.

Generally when a player gets hurt one waits for him to get healthy. When and if he does, then there’s a basis for evaluation.

Trashing a good player when he’s hurt doesn’t provide much useful information. We’ll see how Moustakas looks after the winter.

Imagine trading one of them for a guy who does everything well?

I mean the A’s do that as a rule, run bases, field, good arm, doesn’t K too much vs BB

There is a lot of good things that can happen if you have guys who aren’t one trick ponies. But yeah have a few one trick ponies too
