    RIP Norm Macdonald

Had been fighting cancer for years without letting the diagnosis go public. The Conan moth joke is an all time classic and his OJ stuff at the Espy's certainly unforgettable.

Like many comics, his worldview got a little narrower and darker towards the end but his comedy talents and skills were a perfect foil for his time and his later anti-humor on the roasts and late night shows are YouTube favorites for comedy fans over 30. RIP.

    This makes me sad.

I can't remember where I saw it, but Norm was talking to some host and said he hated Hitler so much that he and the host should go on a mission to kill him. The host informed Norm that Hitler had been dead for 50+ years. Norm, straight as an arrow: "I didn't even know he was sick."

Grainy, and probably full of ads if you don't have a blocker, but Norm ripping into Carrot Top is also comedy gold. Albeit pretty dated at this point.

Offsite playback is disabled so you'll have to go to the YT link itself to watch.

His podcast he did for a few years ago was hilarious. He could tell a joke better than anyone.

    Re: RIP Norm Macdonald

7-10 years ago, Norm was on a podcast–can't remember which–and said he didn't find it very interesting when comics started talking about serious things like cancer and parents dying. He said everyone deals with that and it's not unique or special and he didn't have interest in moving his act toward those topics. I wonder if he had already been diagnosed when he gave that interview.
