This is usually when teams like the Pirates start playing good down the stretch. No pressure on them guys fighting for roster spots next year. Playing spoiler role.
Reds might have been better off playing a team like the Brewers 9 times down the stretch. They have everything sewed up and will be giving starters a lot of rest.
