    I'd say not likely
How about Castellanos at 3B and Stephenson in RF?

Yep, sweeping the Dodgers here and loosing out to the Pirates would be very on brand.

That’s pretty bad, but at least all of those guys were natural outfielders. And Bruce was still a good defender at that point.

We’ve got a guy playing out of position in LF, a butcher in RF, and a DH in CF. It’s pretty nuts lmao

And I’m actually for it too, I admire the stones on Bell to go balls to the wall trying to fix the offense issues.

What is everyone's take on Winker? Will he come out hitting or will there be a adjustment period to get his timing down? Either way he will be a guy the pitchers will respect. Might get Castellanos more pitches to hit behind him.

I am fairly baffled by the insistence of basically never playing Barrero though. I thank Kyle Farmer for his service for his bonkers July, but he has not earned the playing time he’s receiving beyond that.

Probably an adjustment period, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ran into one tonight.

I would've started DeShields in center and Winker in left, keep Schrock available off the bench. The small offensive benefit Schrock may give you over Delino is greatly outweighed by the potential disaster of Winker in CF (in his first game after a back injury).

Farmer’s one of the top defensive shortstops in MLB this year according to several well-recognized metrics.

In the Pirates series he got two hits the first game; the game tying homer the second game; a hit and walk last night.

I would be fairly baffled if he was removed from the lineup.

Strong defenders up the middle(C, 2B, SS), except for CF. RF, LF aren't so bad, but hold your breath for 1B, 3B.

Reds will lose by one run or 10 runs.

I worry that Winker was rushed back from the injury. I don’t blame the Reds for it, this series is do or die. Reds can’t get swept and keep a good chance for the WC.

I disagree, Farmer is by far the better choice at this time in the throes of criticality of the season.
