Farmer over Barrero is annoying but pretty much the least annoying thing about the Reds right now.

Barrero just hasn’t found a groove at the plate, hasn’t had a chance but not much to do about it at this point.

Plus Farmer is respected, admired, fields well and has baseball acumen.

He’s not the future, but sitting him now for youth with promise but no experience would not go over well amongst the team, that’s my take

    Dunn, Griffey and anybody.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Shogo is apparently dealing with an injury, but DeShields should be available.
That's true, but Delino can hit just marginally better than I could. I think at this point you just get as many of your best bats in the lineup as possible. Gonna have to score some runs to have a shot in this series.

Jesse Winker: "I'm good enough to come here and lace it up. There is no damn excuse. I don’t care about the amount of at-bats I got. I don’t care about the time I missed. It doesn’t matter to me. I’m here. I believe I can help the team win."

That's more like it. A lot better than Tucker's "that's baseball."

Gonna have to prevent some runs too.

I’d argue that the offense of an eighth place hitter may be less important than avoiding unnecessary hits.

This outfield now has Schrock in LF and Winker in CF, both out of position. Pray for strikeouts and grounders. And balls hit right to ‘em.

I say the Reds score 4 tonight. Can Castillo and the bullpen hold the blue clad invaders to 3 or less?

I predict at least one ball will be hit to Winker or Schrock in the first inning.

    And they'll catch it.

If you find the actual tweet, there's a video of Winker ripping a phone book in half with his bare hands.

There are no gaps in GAB, it’s the one field this OF might be able to play without looking foolish

C’est rare de voir un match des Rouges de Cincinnati dans l'est de l'Ontario. Merci à TVA Sports d'avoir diffusé le match ce soir.

C’est mieux que d'écouter WKRD sur iheart stream.

Horrible crowd size. But with high school football back in swing that is to be expected I guess. Not to mention a huge world event taking place.
