They need to rebuild, and Farmer needs to be utility next season.
I’ve watched most of the games this season. And Farmer has not been bobbling balls all season.

If he had been, how is it possible that he has only 5 errors in 930 chances at shortstop?

The Reds lost because the starting pitcher allowed 6 runs in the early innings. Enough.

The September swoon of Miley appears to be a real thing and not a one off. Sucks, but he's ultimately still way outperformed expectations this year.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Thank you! The only consistent 'bobbling' I've seen this season is from David Bell.

You can bobble balls and not have errors. He often bobbles and then has to rush the throw to first, or he goes to second and that's all they get. We'll agree to disagree, but I'm not backing down from what my own two eyes have seen. Peace.

When Shogo was making several dazzling plays in CF it really seemed to fire this team up. It isn't always a bat that fires a team up. Then Bell basically removes him from the lineup and the fire isn't even a smoldering ember anymore. Fire Bell and hire Paul O'Neill as manager.
I don't know what Paul O'Neil is like as a manager. I stopped following him when he went to the Spankees. But I remember the guy being super firey. Bell just slaps them on the butt and probably presses the heart button on all of their tweets. And Bell takes WAY TOO LONG to remove guys from the lineup, 2 batters too late, or 8 games too late if you are a batter.

Tough loss. 3-7 over the last 10 but that’s ok because we played well a few months ago!
