    Aquino is Rolando Roomes 2.0.

19-year-old Big Klu had high hopes that the former Jamaican cricket player could become Eric Davis Lite, but he just couldn't make enough contact. Aquino is similar to Roomes in having tantalizing physical tools, but he just doesn't have the essential baseball skills.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

It’s not “enough” but Reds faced a daunting task against this Dodger pitching trio.

Not sure any team has faced a tougher trio of starting pitchers.

Bad timing, but they didn’t get swept, still have an outside chance for WC, keep the pen rested for Pirates.

I did. That's why I said they needed at least two of these. When the Cardinals are given a lifeline in September, they have a history of taking advantage. They've earned their playoff spot if they get it. I hate to admit it (I mean HATE to admit it) but the Cards organization has been better than the Reds for a long time now.

It's a must win for the reds so my giants can whittle their magic numbet down again.

I bet Miley was livid on the mound today.

Sam Lecure joining the booth. Time to change the channel to TBS to watch the game there.

    This just about does it.

I hope this team looks very different next year.

I'm probably wrong here, but I think it's going to look very different. The culture is just wrong right now.

Cardinals jump out 5-0 on the Padres in the bottom of the 1st inning.

In his 2nd career AB Freidl does something Shogo still hasn't done.

Wasn't Friedl the somewhat highly regarded college player who went undrafted because nobody in MLB (except the Reds) knew he was eligible for the draft, and then the Reds signed him as an undrafted free agent (with a decent signing bonus)?
