    I agree with you, Keefe. Gotta have 6 of the next 7. Simply can't be less than that.

    Cincinnati Reds
    @Reds

    The #Reds today placed on the injured list C Tyler Stephenson and selected the contract of C Mark Kolozsvary from Triple-A Louisville.
    With no injury designation which usually means....

    Heck of a year for Mark Kolozsvary. Homered off reigning Cy Young winner Shane Bieber in spring training. He was the starting catcher for Team USA and earned a silver medal in the Olympics. Now he's in the big leagues.

    Wow. The never ending injuries. Was wondering why Tucker was starting against a LHP. Now I know.

    Tucker would sum it up better than anyone. Something like, " We just have to go out and play. Injuries are part of the game. That's baseball."

    I'd put Barnhart behind Votto. Anyone who can make contact. Votto isn't moving himself to second.

    Players must be pretty well vaccinated if no one else is out for being in contact!

    Barrero is in CF because its better for beginners in the OF if they have enough speed to run down balls. Barrero needs to hit to be able to start next season, something he hasn't shown in the majors, no small task, and I'm sure is the reason that most players who can't aren't able to. And he'll have to hit better to stick in CF than he would to stick at SS.

    Three weeks ago it looked like we were almost a lock for the WC. I just didn’t think the starting pitching would fall apart and the offense would struggle to score runs. In the end we are about the 500 team I thought we would be to start the season. We still have an outside chance but pretty much have to go on a run here the last two weeks. It’s possible if the offense can get going. Votto and Cast have to heat up and we have to get something out of 3rd base.

    If the Yankees make it into the playoffs he should get three shares.

    I'd argue that outside of Miley's swoon and a few cruddy Vlad starts the starting mostly held up. The 8 straight series losses is almost entirely the offense's fault.

    “I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
