Well I see the American League has chosen not to participate in the World Series again this year. They need to decide whether they are going to continue playing major league baseball or they need to be designated as a minor league. Again its two NL west teams in the World Series, Astros vs Braves. I would hope if the AL continues to decline the World Series that MLB would choose the Reds to be a World Series participant. Maybe next year it could be the Reds vs the Padres?

I love the Terrance Gore is on the roster for the World Series. He was in his fifth MLB season before he got his first hit. He then got 14 hits in 2019 and has played in 2 MLB games since, none of which happened this season. But man does he have a valuable skill for the postseason. 40 career steals for a guy with 77 career plate appearances. Pretty solid ratio!

Might be a terrible series but I feel it’s going to be great

In any given game, I don’t think the Braves will blow out the Astros, but the Astros have the potential to turn a couple of games into routs.

If Braves can keep games close, they have an uncanny knack for scratching out runs late to win the game.

Weather for games 3 and 4 will be cool and damp.

So if the Brewers go to World Series against anyone but Astros, doesn't that mean two AL teams are playing?

Dansby too anxious to get a DP and keep the 5-0 shutout intact, and gets no out and a run scores.

Fortunate break by Houston. Come backer hits Morton just wrong and knocks him from the game….probably costing the Braves 2 innings of relief pitching and likely using 1 or 2 extra pitchers……the more the Astros see a pitcher, the more they’ll hit them …..and Braves lost a guy who could potentially start or pitch another 10 innings this series

Huge job by Minter to get it to 6th with 5-1 lead.

Braves need a few more runs. As you have seen, if Braves have a pitcher who can give up a lead quickly, it’s Jackson.

Big showing by Braves bullpen last night and relatively modest pitch counts for Jackson/Matzek/Smith. With Morton out, solid starts by Fried and Anderson are imperative for Braves to have a chance.
