Might we ask what happened with Covcath22? I see there's no sign of him anywhere

I'm confident he was a previously banned user.

Having access to social media, it appears that is actually how the Internet is most utilized, though, even though it was clearly not the intent. Pretty sure it was invented for porn.

I think it was invented for sports consumption myself

So I guess he was canned. Suffice to say rumors that this person was me were greatly exaggerated.

    The point I've been making:

What’s wrong with continual boosting? For one thing, a variant may emerge that requires a new vaccine formulation. (Boosting with a Moderna beta variant vaccine yielded higher neutralizing titers against the beta variant than did boosting with Moderna’s original mRNA-1273 vaccine.) We don’t know yet if omicron will require a new formulation, although public health officials are worried it might. In that case, “training” the immune system repeatedly on the original variant — as the current boosters do — may prove to be counterproductive. It could, for instance, diminish the effectiveness of a reformulated booster. In other words, for those not in immediate need of a boost, there may be an advantage to waiting until a booster more closely aligned with circulating variants becomes available.

I've been against lockdowns and masking but I'm very much in favor of vaccines. I'm not in favor of vaccine mandates. That doesn't equate to "wash through us".

It does though. Just not directly.

Because as we all are finding out, only vaccinating those who are willing and able to get vaccinated, is a half measure. "Better than nothing."

Ironically, keeping the hosts alive via the vaccine so it can spread and mutate, as opposed to doing nothing and letting the O.G. Rona brutally wash over the world, may keep covid around for much longer as a result. And if it doesn't weaken with each mutation, it may save lives to vaccinate in the short term, and cost lives overall in the long term because of it's extended stay.

It would be interesting to study this historically, maybe 20 years down the road. Because right now it feels like covid-19 put a "kick me" sign on the back of mankind.

    Bingo.

It’s amazing to me that mankind, on average, is getting dumber as we move into the future and get more tech.

Our scientists formulated a vaccine very quickly, if everyone had gotten it this pandemic would be over. Instead we let idiots decide for themselves and here we are with 35% of the population, or whatever it is, refusing to get it because of Louder with Crowder memes.

I am honestly just so tired of the whole thing, meaning american society. I would absolutely move my family to Iceland if it was realistic.
What would you say.....ya do here?

Iceland? Can you fish? Definitely somewhere I've wanted to visit. I understand it's amazing there. Looks like Iceland is currently going through its worst stretch in the pandemic. Comparatively, not too bad, though.
