If it was nothing more than E’s shoulder then I can possibly agree that he will bounce back.
However it wasn’t like when he connected that he had no power. Look how far that oppo shot he hit in Milwaukee went. It wasn’t a bat speed problem. It was a seeing the ball problem in my view.

I sported something very similar to the Sabo collection for sports too in the 80s and 90s. I was blind as a bat before Lasik. Couldn’t wear contacts! But they were great for basketball. Couldn’t find the Kareem model…
Maybe big E can’t see the big E after all.
