    RIP Tom Matte

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Matte

These were the days where one injury to the knee ends a promising career. At what should have been the beginning of Matte's prime (he led the league in total touches, yards from scrimmage and TD's in 1969, while setting the record in a Super Bowl for yards per carry (10.5 on 11 carries) after the 1968 season), his career basically ended abrubtly in the 1st Game of the 1970 season.

He went to HS in Cleveland and played Quarterback for The Ohio State University, rushing for nearly as many yards as he did pass.
"One problem with people who have no vices is that they're pretty sure to have some annoying virtues."
