    2022 MLB Offseason Thread

Tigers just signed Eduardo Rodriguez to 5 year deal worth $77 million

I think they are going all-in. They believe their young guns are ready and time to win the division. That’s how a rebuild is meant to be done. They spent a few years losing and nailing top pick after top pick. As soon as the youth is ready they are pushing their chips in. I grew up in Toledo, there are a lot days I wish I had become a Tigers fan like all my friends. Pretty jealous this morning. Good for them.
What would you say.....ya do here?

Don't we already have a thread like this? I would like to see a Reds ONLY rumor and trade thread but we know how that works.

Good signing for the Tigers as you have to think a SP will fare better in the AL central than the AL East. The free agent SP class is really light so it'll be interesting to see how aggressive teams will be coming after Castillo or Sonny via trade after some more names come off the board. Reds could end up in a really good position if they don't panic sell(again).

Passan reported MLB teams are telling FAs that if they don’t sign prior to December 1st they likely will not be signed until February after/if the new CBA is signed.

This offseason is going to suck.

We're Reds fans. It already sucks.

Tom Selleck being a fan is reason enough to want to be a Tigers fan.

Fun fact: the character of Higgins from Magnum PI was named after Higgins Lake up in central Michigan. Selleck’s family had a lake house on it.

One MLB Insider has mentioned to me that Carlos Correa to the #Tigers is a “done deal.”
