My guess is that in the Tigers home park, those numbers get worse. He’s excellent defensively, the Tigers need to hope that he doesn’t decline too much on defense, because that will be his main value playing there, imo.
Here are Baez’s last three full seasons -

    His OPS+ in 2018 was 129. OPS .881.
    His OPS+ 2019 was 115. OPS .847.
    His OPS+ in 2021 was 117. OPS .813,

Like I said, his stub (59 games) 2020 season was poor. He wasn’t the only one in a shortened season.

Clearly worth the money, especially with his defense.

How is Crosby still alive? Great that he is but jeepers. Genetics are a crapshoot.

My wife was on a flight with CSN from San Jose to PDX. While she was waiting for me to pick her up they were waiting for a car about ten feet from her. This guy was talking Crosby's head off, on and on... and he says,"You gotta try our wine David, oregon wine is awesome." Crosby replies.."Dude, I'm a junkie, I'm totally clean."

Rays have full 40-man roster and need to make room for Kluber. Per sources, both Kiermaier and Wendle being discussed in trades. Departure of Wendle would clear ABs not just for Díaz but also Walls.

Krall slowly tries wiping the crust from his eyes before turning back over in his bed. I'm so sleepy he murmurs as he slowly re-enters dreamland.

Someone has to say it.. The Cubs will sign Frazier and then trade him to the Reds for Castillo.

[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

“We called the Cubs and they weren’t interested, so we just non-tendered Luis. It would have been great to get Frazier, but ah, we were bested once again by a dude name Jed.”

According to a report from Business Insider, MLB secretly used two different types of baseballs last year.

Matt Strahm from the Padres and Richard Rodriguez of the Braves are a couple of non-tender bullpen arms that I would be interested in.
