Since we'll be on CBS next week, I'm assuming we'll get Romo as announcer?

Just woke up after a night of celebrating and watching highlight clips.

Still can’t believe this is real.

Romo and Nantz are the number 1 team for cbs so I would think that assumption would be right.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Romo is, IMO, the best announcer in football, and it's not really close.

Looking forward to what he has to say about the Bengal offense and Burrow in particular.

It's gonna be Bills v Bengals, just like in 88.
Then it's gonna be 49ers v Bengals, just like in 88.

But, unlike in 88, Bengos r gonna win this time.

    Welp… onward to KC.

Upsetting The Chiefs in Arrowhead will be no small task. If anyone can do it, though…. It would be this team.

At least prep this week can be focused. We know exactly what the job is. And the chiefs secondary got banged up tonight.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

Chiefs open -7. Surprised. I thought it would be -5.

Chiefs are the easier road. But not by much.

Offensive line might be the Achilles heel here but that's why they play the games.

Nice to be in the conversation. Who Dey.

Especially coming off this game and with the respective reputation of each team in recent years, I imagine the public money is going to swing to KC pretty hard. Makes sense that they're pushing the line pretty aggressively.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I'm guessing Spags won't blitz nearly as much this time around.

Re: Cincinnati Bengals Part VI: PLAYOFFS?!???!

    Couple of thoughts:

-I haven't "cared" about a Bengals game since the debacle against Pittsburgh. I have found enjoyment in watching the games, win or lose, and its a whole lot more fun to view it this way.

-I was pretty much dead wrong on Burrow (as I have said before.) Guys is the real deal. I think you saw a big jump mid year this year when he got more comfortable. Its hard to believe that this is his first full season in the league.

-That said, Burrow needs to do a better job at times of getting rid of the ball. Granted he got beaten and bruised Sat, but there were a couple of those 9 sacks that resulted from him holding the ball too long. That should come with more reps.

-The Oline is a mess right now, but did they find a bright spot in Isaiah Prince? Fix this Oline and Burrow may be unstoppable.

-The defense is better than I ever expected. I thought they lacked playmakers, but they have built a nice all around unit. Kudos to Eli Apple for turning his career around, and Jessie Bates for playing his best football now. Pay that man.

-I was critical of them drafting McPherson when they did. However that looks like a great pick. The rule of thumb is if you like a K draft him one round earlier, and the Bengals did that. Its nice to have a kicker back there who you have extreme confidence in.

-Taylor is rounding into his own as a coach, and I think what KC did to Buffalo is why Taylor played the ending of the KC game earlier this year the way he did. All that said, the Bengals will need to score TD's instead of kicking FG's to beat the Chiefs. 7.5 seems like a pretty big line for this game.

I'm just not sure they get enough stops against Mahomes at home in the playoffs. They need to create a turnover or two and then hope we only see McPherson on XPs. The Bengals need to get six everytime they get inside the 30.

But you're right. It's an incredible season regardless of what happens Sunday and it feels good to see the Bengals logo in all the promos for this weekend.
