Since 1903 the Reds have had 66 games with one hit or less, Browning had three in 1988, Jim Maloney had seven in his career

Nuxy even had one game in that list

He lost back to back 1-0 games too. The next one he went 6 innings. 1 run allowed. 4 walk and hits with 6 K.

Don't know, the way it's set up is you have to do it player by player and then they spit out the games/dates

Worst in-season stretch of hitting for a Reds player in the Division era (50 games /150 PA's to qualify)

Concepcion didn't come into his own in hitting until the 1973 season. He broke his ankle just before the all star break and hence came Darrel Chaney's stretch on your sheet. Chaney could never hit a lick and continued to prove that once he got to Atlanta.

I'll take Soto but you can't go wrong with any of them. Soto could be flat out dominant. If he had came along just a few years earlier he would won 20+ games a season.

Chaney was much younger than I thought. I was listening to a 1972 Reds game the other day and the Mets announcers mentioned that Woody Woodward had suddenly retired before the season and that surprised the Reds

Woody Woodward needed to stay with the Reds two more seasons and we would've won the pennant in 1973.

Okay, here's why. Woody was a terrible hitter. However, there was one pitcher he torched. Tom Seaver.

He was putrid in an era that many MLB SS had sub .600 OPS's, just putrid
