    What do we want?

    A pitch clock!

    When do we want it?

    About 12 seconds from now!

Seems like they're over thinking this one. The rule should be: pitcher has X seconds to throw a pitch or make a pick off throw after his foot touches the rubber and the batter has both feet inside the batters box.

    Oh, one more thing...

The reason games are longer is due to commercial breaks. This pitch clock is just a band aid over that.

I think they're going to find that 15-20 seconds is too short. If they must go through with this, they'll need to go with a 30-35 sec clock.

The pitch clock in AAA is actually shorter at 14-18. They'll handle 15-20 just fine.

I hope you're right but I have my doubts

They have tried this several times in the past but the umpires never enforced it.
