I wasn't yet born when WKRP debuted, but of the (mostly bland) sitcom reruns my parents loved to watch when I was a kid, WKRP stood out as waaaayyyyy better than "Happy Days" and the like. Dr. Johnny Fever came to define "cool" for me, and in my later years, this scene in particular stood out as something to aspire to:

Dr. Johnny Fever made WKRP the great sitcom it was. Howard Hessman did just a great job in portraying him. RIP

WKRP was a very underrated sitcom and was canceled way too soon. I loved Howard in it

I enjoyed him in Head of the Class, too. But obviously that was no where close to WKRP.
Loved Johnny Fever. This one makes me sad, fellow babies.
