I genuinely think, whatever they'll claim, that a lot of people genuinely don't know that the FBI is domestic. Obviously they do some international stuff, mostly terrorism related, but I wouldn't think that plausibly extends to pandemic investigating.

The one thing I keep wondering is why would China be so secretive (beyond their normal) of COVID’s origination if it was natural? It just doesn’t make sense. If it was truly a natural occurrence, there would be nothing to hide or be embarrassed about.

Well, they massively screwed up and let SARS-CoV-2 break out exactly like SARS-CoV-1. That's pretty damning. Also, China being twitchy and weird is normal service for China.
