Not sure how the Cowboys, Ravens, and 49er's are that far up the list but whatever. Bengals, Pats, and Chargers should all be higher up the list.

I think we'll open with a primetime game the opening weekend. Could be vs Chiefs or Titans.

I read another possibility is Cowboys at LA Rams.

Ryan Shazier Names His Favorite for Steelers Next QB

The former linebacker thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers should avoid a rookie.

    https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/news...rs-quarterback

Shazier spoke with 93.7 The Fan about the Steelers next quarterback and said his choice is San Fransisco 49ers passer Jimmy Garoppolo.

"I think somebody like Jimmy Garoppolo could really help," Shazier said. "Personally, I don’t think we should draft a quarterback this year."

The Steelers have been linked to both Pitt's Kenny Pickett and Liberty's Malik Willis in the 2022 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Garoppolo is expected to leave the 49ers this offseason but Pittsburgh will need to trade for him, as he's not a free agent until 2023.

The Cowboys have a terrible division and are obviously a fan favorite so they will get a lot of action odds-wise. The Ravens had just a boatload of injuries this year. A few key ones before the season even started. I can understand their odds being the same as Cincinnati's as of right now.

    Re: 2022 NFL Season

The pecking order in the weaker QB NFc at the moment seems more clear. It's a 6 team race again with the 4 current division Champs + 49ers/Az and likely minus TB. The 2022 AFC is a scrum.

The knee jerk opening odds seem to reflect that train of thought.

I think there's good value with the Broncos/Titans at +2000 or +2200. I think one of them could get Rodgers.

BTW I seriously doubt that Aaron Donald retires.

I'm getting old, some of the "new" stadiums from when I was a kid are beginning to be replaced and are outdated.

Terrell Davis thinks Aaron Rodgers will join Broncos in 2022

I do,” Davis said when asked if he believes Rodgers will become Denver’s next quarterback. “And I’m not playing, I’m serious. I’ve heard from too many insiders, too many sources — it makes too much sense for us not to get Aaron Rodgers. That’s the talk of Denver …. it sounds like that is the most likely scenario.”

Davis said he thinks former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett becoming the Broncos’ new head coach helps the chances of a trade.

Rodgers is expected to make a decision — either retirement, staying in Green Bay or request a trade — by early March.

EDIT - I should have placed this in the 2022's QB Carousel thread.

Same here. I thought it was ridiculous when the Braves built their new ballpark.

Tennessee getting a football stadium would have ramifications in other sports, namely the SEC.

Wonder if this might help or hurt them in free agency.

Steelers hire Brian Flores as senior defensive assistant/linebackers coach

Former Dolphins coach Brian Flores may never become an NFL head coach again. However, he’s back in the league.
The Steelers have announced that Flores has been hired to be the team’s senior defensive assistant/linebackers coach.
