No one's blaming the victim. He was guilty, admitted it and paid the price:
https://www.wiki.ng/en/wiki/video-jo...lfriend-861591In October 2014, Joe Mixon entered an Alford Pleas to a felony assault charge. He punched a young woman named Amelia Molitor and broke her facial bones, which led to her being hospitalized and undergoing several operations.
On July 25, 2014, the incident took place in Norman, Oklahoma. According to Molitor, Mixon and his teammates were harassing her and her friends. Mixon and Molitor had an argument that followed and pushed, slapped, spat on Mixon’s face, and punched him.
The fist reportedly caused her to smash into a table and break her jaw. Therefore, Mixon received a one-year suspended sentence and was asked to be comforted once with 100 hours of community service.
He was arrested and charged with punching a woman in the restaurant, breaking four bones in her face, in July 2014, before his first season with the Sooners began. On April 21, 2017, Joe apologized to Amelia.

Thread is teetering on the edge of being closed. Let's try and reset course here....
Lawyers put out the fires and create goodwill, and he's paying top dollar for the best right now. He just needs to just put the matches away. I mean, I wouldn't root for the guy. Mixon's incident was completely reasonable given the circumstances in the situation, and his life since then seems to complement that. There was nothing premeditated about what Mixon did, nor did he seek out the situation. Watson is clearly a serial rapist.

Vikes sign Za’darius Smith 3yrs $42 million. Hope are that he can return to his Pro Bowl form of 2019, 2020.
Does this mean DHunter will be traded? Or Anthony Barr released? Or are they keeping all of them? TBD

As of right now DeShaun Watson is costing the Browns $55mill against the cap in 2023 with an unheard of dead cap hit of $220mill. That's a nutty cap hit and not the formula for winning the Super Bowl. Watson is one new sexual assault charge from getting kicked out of the league for good. If that happens, I don't know what this does to the Browns cap. The contract is fully guaranteed but I don't know if it's guaranteed against a new suspension. Even if he plays, it's going to be tricky to surround him with players

I've heard the cap will $260 million by 2024. The Browns aren't dumb. They know the cap.
Terron Armstead to the Dolphins. Another premium talent going from the NFC to AFC.

Unbelievable.
MIA desperately trying to not be a bottom-feeder in the AFC.
NBC Sports' comments:
Miami signed LT Terron Armstead, formerly of the Saints, to a five-year, $75 million contract. The stud left tackle can propel his contract to an $87.5 million valuation through incentives. His deal also includes $43.4 million in guarantees. Armstead was the crown jewel of the free agency class as far as offensive linemen were concerned. He missed nine games last year because of a knee issue but entered the 2021 season coming off three consecutive Pro Bowl nods. The Dolphins' primarily objective this offseason was to overhaul their dreadful line and the addition of Armstead isn't the first step. They also added left guard Connor Williams earlier in free agency. Pro Football Focus ranked the Dolphins' line as the worst unit in the league last year and charted them as allowing more pressure than any other group. The signings greatly improve the outlooks of Tua Tagovailoa and the backfield. Spearheaded by Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert, expect the Dolphins to finish better than their placement of No. 31 in yards per carry as a team.

MIA still has for picks this year (2022): 1 in the 1st, 1 in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th, 0 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th.
MIA still has for picks next year (2023): 2 in the 1st, 1 in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th, 2 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th, plus any compensatory picks awarded next season, if any.

The flipside of the AFC being so strong is that the NFC will dominate this year's draft, with the notable exception of HOU and NYJ.
The teams with the most top-heavy picks from both leagues:
The AFC:
HOU:
Round 1: Nos. 3, 13 (from Browns) overall
Round 2: No. 37
Round 3: Nos. 68, 80 (from Saints)
Round 4: Nos. 107 (from Lions through Browns), 108
Round 6: Nos. 183, 205 (from Packers), 207 (from 49ers through Jets)
Round 7: No. 245 (from Cowboys)
NYJ:
Round 1: Nos. 4, 10 (from Seahawks) overall
Round 2: Nos. 35, 38 (from Panthers)
Round 3: No. 69
Round 4: Nos. 111 (from Panthers), 117 (from Vikings)
Round 5: Nos. 146, 163 (from Steelers)
And, because the #1 pick has so much value beginning each round, there is one more AFC team:
JAX:
Round 1: No. 1 overall
Round 2: No. 33
Round 3: Nos. 65, 70 (from Panthers)
Round 4: No. 106
Round 5: No. 157 (from Vikings)
Round 6: Nos. 180, 188 (from Seahawks), 197 (from Eagles), 198 (from Steelers)
Round 7: Nos. 222, 235 (from Ravens)
The NFC:
Round 1: Nos. 15 (from Dolphins), 16 (from Colts), 19 overall
Round 2: No. 51
Round 3: No. 83
Round 4: No. 124
Round 5: Nos. 154 (from Commanders), 162, 166 (from Cardinals)
Round 6: No. 194 (from Colts)
NYG:
Round 1: Nos. 5, 7 (from Bears) overall
Round 2: No. 36
Round 3: Nos. 67, 81 (from Dolphins)
Round 4: No. 112 (from Bears)
Round 5: Nos. 147, 173 (from Chiefs through Ravens)
Round 6: No. 182
DET:
Round 1: Nos. 2, 32 (from Rams) overall
Round 2: No. 34
Round 3: Nos. 66, 97
Round 5: No. 177
Round 6: Nos. 181, 217
Round 7: No. 234 (from Browns)
GBP:
Round 1: Nos. 22 (from Raiders), 28 overall
Round 2: Nos. 53 (from Raiders), 59
Round 3: No. 92
Round 4: Nos. 132, 140
Round 5: No. 171
Round 7: Nos. 228 (from Bears through Texans), 249, 258
ATL:
Round 1: No. 8 overall
Round 2: Nos. 43, 58 (from Titans)
Round 3: Nos. 74, 82 (from Colts)
Round 4: No. 114
Round 5: No. 151
Round 6: Nos. 190, 213
Out of all of those teams, there's one that stands out....the Packers. Everyone else is a bottom-feeder. But, of course, the Packers avoid Free Agency like Mike Brown (Katie and her husband has been making the decisions for the last 27 months), perhaps even worse, so they always have their picks. They've been so lucky to have Rogers and Favre, though they were smart enough to trade for Favre, and smart enough to draft Rogers after 15 teams passed on him when they already had Favre.
