Good point. The audio was a full second off. Al would call a pass incomplete before it passed the receiver

Most modern TVs have a setting that allows you to delay video for some period in order to sync up with the audio. Check your audio settings.

Long article, but interesting and informative. Requires a subscription.

How to watch football like an expert from the comfort of your couch

American football is one of the most complicated, potentially confusing sports in the world – if not the most complicated, potentially confusing sport in the world. But that’s part of what makes it so captivating. There are multiple games of chess being played on the field from snap to snap that even the most avid watchers could miss. There is always something to learn about the game and there are levels to watching it.

Lamar Jackson is 11-13 for 210 yards and 3 TDs so far against Miami. The Fins defense definitely brings out the best in him.

Patriots are really playing right down to the talent level of a bad Pittsburgh team

New England's a bad football team.

Oh, and Jamies Winston is just as stupid as Carson Wentz.

I got to this bar to get a spot for the Bengals game like 10 minutes ago and the Saints and Bucks were tied at 3. It’s now 19-3 Tampa lmao

    2022 NFL Season

Tua woke up and it’s a game in Baltimore now.

And the Jets may beat the Browns.

Edit: Miami just scored again. Tua with 6 TDs.

People definitely dug Tua’s grave way too early, turns out

The Patriots are terrible. Pittsburgh actually has a ton of offensive talent and a really solid defense (better with Watt, of course), but they're hamstrung by their QB and their Offensive Coordinator. 20 total yards of offense in the fourth quarter, and I'm including the 8-yard TD from the one drive they had >50 yards today to end the third. I was hoping that Trubisky could be servicable while waiting for Pickett to mature. Instead, he's Duck Hodges-esque. Constant throws off his back foot, panics through read progressions when he's not staring down a receiver, passes constantly sailing high or digging low, and if his "hail mary" pass right before the half is any indication, he doesn't have the arm strength to go downfiled consistently.

The only positive for the Steelers is that they're going to be tied for the division lead after the weekend. But if they don't get it figured out soon, none of the other AFC North teams have anything to worry about for the season.

    Re: 2022 NFL Season

Arizona was down 20-0 at HT, and came back to tie the Raiders 23-23 with a touchdown (Murray ran it in but almost didn’t succeed because he held up the football triumphantly BEFORE crossing the goal line) and two point conversion. Then in OT, with the raiders driving at the ARI 39 yd Line, there’s a fumble and CB Byron Murphy scoops it up and returns it for TD, but it has to be reviewed because just as he crosses the end zone he throws the ball away!
    Tough loss for the Raiders
The cardinals are so badly coached, so undisciplined.

    Except the Bengals.

Looks like Jimmy G got his job back in San Fran.

The Bengals are now 35-1 to win the Super Bowl. Terrible start and obvious issues, but man does that seem high for the reigning AFC champs who start Joe Burrow at QB (until he gets hurt, at least).
