A 34 year old outfielder coming off a .229 15-49 season in 2021 following a 211 2020 season doesn't excite me , sorry. As a Reds fan hopefully he proves me wrong

NEWS: The Reds are in agreement with free-agent outfielder Tommy Pham on a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2023, according to a source. The deal is pending a physical.

The Reds lineup has a lot to make up for with the players they lost this offseason. Tommy Pham is a great fit for the current roster.
He gives them a right-handed starting outfielder and a proven every day player. While Pham only hit .230 last year, he’s a starter.
I think Pham/Fraley platoon will come close to matching Winker’s production. Not all the way, but close.

Again, the 2020 “season” was 60 games. Pham played in 31 games and had 125 plate appearances. I beg people to stop referring to 2020 like it was any other season.

I fear Pham..or do I phear Fam…has outlived his usefulness. He was dreadful in the first half last year and only slightly better to phinish the season. But 34 isn’t a death sentence for baseball players, and that GABP tonic should be good for what ails him.

Remember Winker's production was in only 110 games. But if they can produce near the 24 homers, 305 avg and .394 ob%, 556 slug % . 946 ops I'll be shocked.
