.787 OPS away from PetCo last season, which includes his dreadful start to the season.

Welcome to GAB, Tommy! Happy with this addition for sure.

103 OPS+ last year. 120 career OPS+. He can play CF in a pinch and is still an adequate fielder at the corners. He hits righties and lefties. This is excellent. Now go trade Graham Ashcraft and Austin Hendricks for Frankie Montas and make the playoffs.

To be fair, we should be focusing on his OB.

He can, but it's probably not advisable anymore. Would not shock me if the Reds played him there everyday.

One little trick to get better in a weird way. Rival GMs hate this signing!

I’m guessing he plays LF every day. Naquin/Senzel will play CF and Fraley in RF for better or worse. Whatever… the outfield is “below-average,” now. Prior to this signing, it was historically bad. I love every part of this move - especially the mutual option for 2023.

This move really makes the lineup balanced. Adding Pham to Senzel, Naquin, and Fraley leaves 1 spot for Friedl, Shogo and Aquino barring any injuries. I'd like to see Friedl stay with the bug club myself.

I would guess Pham LF, Senzel CF, Naquin/Aquino (or maybe Almora) RF with Fraley off the bench. However, once Senzel goes down for his regularly scheduled injury I expect things to get wild.

Golly. A good OF signing. Knock me over with a feather.

I tell my kids to not be hasty in judgements. I guess I ought to listen to my own advice.
