Apparently the Pirates bought out all of the arb years and another season for Hayes for $70 mil. Not sure if that’s a good signing or not. He gets a ton of hype but his numbers don’t seem that great to me. Good for him, though. Has to be quite the feeling knowing you are set for life at age 25.

And he left the game in the 1st inning with an injury to his hand.

That said, I doubt he's there more than 5 years before he's traded.

Padres were up 2-0 in the 9th at Arizona and didn’t get a single out, lose 4-2 on a walkoff 3 run bomb
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Almost anyone is better than Buck. Davis is OK. Nothing special IMO.

Buck never bothered me, but not a fan of Smoltz as a broadcaster.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Watching the Tigers. The first at bat of Tork's career he popped out to first base. Shows how incredible it is Votto didn't do that until like 12 years into his career

Kyle Schwarber homers in his first AB as a Phillie. Castellanos strikes out.

Also, it seems like they're offering free cocaine in the Phillies broadcast booth.

I do not understand Aaron Judge turning down a $230M 7-year extension. There's no way a team is going to pay him more than $30.5M/year through his age 38 season, right? Guy has missed at least a third of the season to injuries two of the last three years and has a build that tends to age poorly.

That was a wild one, I watched most of the game.

With that said, and I know Kirk Gibson is dealing with Medical issues, their broadcast team is a snooooozzeeeeefest.

Geno having a very Geno-esque first day as a Mariner: 3 Ks leaving 4 men on base.
