Cleveland outfielder Steven Kwan went 5-for-5 in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Royals, he was batting .692 after Monday's game.

He reached base nine consecutive times at one point and in 15 of 19 plate appearances to start the season.

The Guardians have scored 27 total runs in their last 2 games vs the Royals.

I watched most of the Angels game last night while I was doing cardio. Lorenzen looked solid. Not sure if it is sustainable, but we will see.

With that said, holy goodness are the Angels broadcasters way too over the top. They were acting like Lorenzen was the second coming of Nolan Ryan. Spoke at length about his biceps. So over the top with their excitement. I guess we aren't the only fans that have to deal with bad broadcasters. We are super lucky with Welsh, though.
What would you say.....ya do here?

We need better talent, but we do at least seem to get the most out of our guys.
It was unfortunate IMO that Reds weren’t able to use Lorenzen as a starter last season. I believe that was in the cards; but he was injured, missed half the season, and there was a need in the pen when he returned.

It probably doesn’t matter, seems he wanted to leave in FA and go back to the west coast. But at this point in his career, his strikeouts are higher, he throws grounders, I think he might have succeeded as a starter for the Reds.

Don Sutton’s son I believe, he’s a little eager. I myself watched the Giants and Padres, Kuip and Krukow, really a great team

Not really the Reds fault, but once he refined and built out his repertoire in 2019, it seemed obvious to me he was better suited to start. His stuff never really “played up” in the pen the way you want it to, but he was a pretty solid all around pitcher by the end. I think he’s got a nice future in Anaheim as a mid rotation starter if he stays healthy.

Daron Sutton was let go last year by the Angels. I don't think he's working anywhere right now.

Watch AND listen to. As an MLB At-Bat user in the past, I loved being able to get the SFG radio broadcast. Jon Miller and others do a great job.

First woman coach to appear in a MLB game last night. She took over first base coaching when the Giants 1st base coach was ejected in the 3rd inning.

Watching Yankees/Blue Jays on MLB Network and Yankees down 2 with a runner on in the 8th and Stanton pinch hits and takes a center cut fastball and hits one of the most no doubt HR I’ve ever seen off the bat……and then the LF caught it on the warning track. I’ve never been so fooled on the distance a ball went off the bat. It looked 500+
