FWIW, I’ll be out of town leaving Friday and will have extremely limited cell service and will be home Sunday. I’ll message RTG with a ranked list of picks if it starts this weekend so I’m not holding it up.

With the 2nd overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, The Detroit Lions, select Malik Willis QB - LIBERTY • JR • 6'1" / 219 LBS
The Lions shock the world. When Aiden Hutchinson dropped to 2 for the hometown Lions everyone expected them run to the podium and select him. However, the Lions see through his one year wonder season after being a disappointment his first couple of years at UM. They met with Willis multiples over the preceding months and realized he has the right attitude, IQ, and physical attributes to be a star QB in this league for the next decade. As some guy on redszone.com named RedTeamGo! often says "If you don't have a QB you don't have a team" and they wisely listened and take Willis.

With the third overall pick the Houston Texans rush to the podium to take the presumed no 1 overall pick Aiden Hutchinson (EDGE-Michigan)
Had other players in mind but Hutchinson is the closest thing to JJ Watt and Jacksonville and Detroit passing on him is Houston’s gain in the first step of a rebuild.
With the fourth overall pick the NY Jets select Kayvon Thibodeaux (EDGE-Oregon)
OT and CB are options here as well but Saleh goes to the west coast to bring in a raw but high ceiling DE who immediately boosts the Jets pass rush.
